Okay, it’s Monday and I’m just posting the week in review (from last week!).
I know, I’m behind. But I guess it’s a good summation of how last week went.
Complete busyness! All while being buried under a pile of laundry!
We were prepping for my husband to have a vendor booth at a fall festival. He sold some of his custom pallet creations. It was exciting to watch others compliment his hard work.

I made up a batch of dipped brownies for a little bake sale action at the booth.
The baking extended to the best part of last week…birthday cake for our birthday boy.
Cayson turned 9!
We partied all weekend and wrapped up the festivities with late afternoon football on Sunday. Review my football food guidelines which I broke by purchasing a nugget tray.
Panthers vs Seahawks.
So basically parents and one child against birthday boy and impressionable youngest child. It was brutal.
But in the end, mama got the prize. A victory. And then spent some time comforting her birthday boy.
Sounds like a scene from nine years ago. Mama gets to hold the real gift, the birthday boy.
